Full Job Description

  • Providing management support to all staff in the Quality Control department.

  • Performing quality control activities and ensuring the compliance to company Standard Operating Procedures and appropriate regulatory authorities

  • Assisting the Quality Manager to deliver the development of quality practices throughout the Company.

  • Undertake Quality Control release of materials in accordance with defined procedures.

  • To be capable and undertake release of compounded products in accordance with defined procedures.

  • Tracking non-confidence, corrective and preventive actions, working with Managers to resolve any issues.

  • Controlling and managing quality system documents (procedures, systems, instructions) in accordance with business and accreditation requirements


  • People Management:
  • Build and manage a high-performing, collaborative team that works in line with the Group's values at all times.

  • Ensure the appropriate level of resource and expertise is in place and that this is structured in the most effective way to deliver the strategy.

  • Ensure that the team have clear objectives in place and that they understand how these relate to the KPIs and the divisional and Group level strategy.

  • Ensure all team members have development plans in place and regularly reviewed.

  • Provide regular feedback to direct reports. Proactively address underperformance.

  • Ensure effective communication of key messages to the team from across the Group.

  • Identify top talent and ensure there is a plan in place to retain them, keep them engaged and maximize their potential.

  • Recognise and celebrate success on a team and individual level.

    An individual who is passionate about helping others

  • Scientific Degree Qualification (or equivalent) is desirable

  • At least 3 years post qualification relevant GMP experience

  • Someone who values teamwork, supportiveness, and has a strong commitment to maintaining high standards

  • Ability to work towards KPIs and an interest in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
