Full Job Description

You will join on a part time (15 hours per week) term time only (33 weeks per year). Starting in September.

The postholder will assist with the efficient running of a very busy and successful arts department by providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Arts and other Arts staff. Many of the duties are in consultation with the Director of Arts and the department staff but responsibility is given for many projects and it is envisaged that the Arts Administrator would want to be involved in decision making and be willing to give ideas.

  • To assist with the efficient running of the overall arts departments by providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director Arts.

  • Maintaining an arts events diary with the Music Administrator (Arts Newsletter and ArtsFull) and supporting event planning through liaising with the necessary departments in the school (catering, printing, photography, marketing, domestics, GWA technical). Updating the Arts Grid with the Music Administrator

  • Administration and Implementation of the Wellington College Arts Fund.

    The successful incumbent must have

  • Good level degree in a directly related subject (desirable)

  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative role

  • Working within a customer focused environment
