Apprenticeship Support Officer

As our Apprenticeship Support Officer, you will be involved in all aspects of administration for our apprenticeship courses at Barnsley College. This is an exciting opportunity to support local employers and apprentices to achieving their desired apprenticeship and continuing to their next career steps., You will work closely with Trainers to obtain regular updates on progress and log all relevant learner information on our ePortfolio system Aptem. As this post supports across the whole department, you will have scope to support across different divisions including Construction, Health, Horticulture and Digital. The Apprenticeship Support Officer role is a key role in ensuring that apprentices succeed. The successful applicant should demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, as you will be working with external stakeholders daily and representing the College at important meetings with employers.
