Full Job Description

Training to be provided - Quantity Surveying BSc (Hons). This course is for students who wish to obtain an honours degree in surveying accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). As part of the programme, students will be mentored and will work towards becoming chartered with RICS. We have a fully supported RICS approved training programme.

  • The course is a five year part time degree course. (One day per week / day release at University in term time).

  • Degree is BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying.

  • The final stage of the Apprenticeship programme is the RICS APC (assessment of professional competence) which leads to Chartered Quantity Surveyor status (MRICS)

    MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveying qualification. Candidates will aspire to act as QS on their own construction projects., Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) Essential
    A Level or equivalent Any related subject (Grade BBB) Essential

The Partners and staff offer an exclusive personal service by building close working relationships with the client and each member of the design and construction team. The Practice was founded on the core skill of Quantity Surveying and today provides an extensive range of services to the construction industry. There are seven Partners, two Associates and over ten Quantity Surveyors in our team together with four staff who provide a solid foundation for our administration.
