Full Job Description

You will work collaboratively with the Enrichment Co-ordinator and Career Adviser to provide guidance, support and enrichment opportunities to students, assisting them in exploring their interests, setting goals and preparing for high education and career paths.

The role has four main paths:

  • Enrichment Programmes

  • Transition Support

  • Careers Development

  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement


  • Typically your tasks will include:
  • Assisting with preparation of events (e.g. orientation programmes, open days, careers fairs, work experience placements and parent information sessions) and enrichment programmes (clubs, trips, workshops etc), including inducting visitors to the school and ensuring events run smoothly

  • Facilitating and overseeing the Jack Petchey programme of awards

  • Tracking participation and engagement in events and providing appropriate data

  • Preparing resources and materials to support events including collaborating with local employers, industry professionals and school alumni

  • Being the point of contact for enquiries related to enrichment and career development

  • Supporting the school social media platforms

  • Collating content for the School Termly Magazines

  • Working with various data sets - you will need good Excel skills, including the ability to use functions, Apprenticeship: Business Administrator Level 3 which is 13 months plus 4 months for End Point Assessment activities.

  • The programme is delivered through virtual and face to face training and online learning.


  • It will include functional skills exams if you don't have English & Maths GCSE at Grade 4 or above., You may be required to attend events and trips from time to time. Some of these may be outside of normal working hours
