Full Job Description
- Develop competence in the maintenance and repair of construction plant, tools and ancillary equipment
- Work towards the relevant NVQ qualification, whilst acquiring new skills in the workplace through on the job training
- Learn to repair and modify mechanical plant and equipment and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Work effectively as a member of the plant team
- Provide support to yard and stores staff as required
Minimum GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in Maths - Keen to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and driven
- A full, clean driving licence
Readypower Rail Services is a growing rail plant hire company looking for motivated Apprentice Fitters to support our operations. Opportunities are available on a full time basis at our Newbury Yard. Opportunities are available immediately, with college enrolment starting in September.
