Full Job Description

Main activities of the job detail:

  • Routine Servicing and Maintenance of Plant Equipment.

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.

  • Supporting continuous improvements in health and safety through development of Risk Assessment, Method Statement to minimize risk when completing maintenance activities.

  • Completing Pre-hire inspection reports.

    The employer will give guidance and support throughout

  • Off-the-job training must make up at least 20% of the apprentice's contracted hours, over the total duration of the apprentice's planned training period. Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date

  • This Standard apprenticeship may include Functional Skills in maths, English & ICT, Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Initiative, Physical fitness, GCSE or equivalent Maths, English (Grade 4 / C or Above) Desired

    £12,313.60 to £22,010.56

  • Our standard Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00. We can vary / reduce the working hours to suit the apprentice and their transport requirements.

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
