Apprentice CNC machinists

AESSEAL plc are looking for Apprentice CNC machinists to complete a Level 3 Machining Technician apprenticeship. Successful candidates will machine components to the highest standard on CNC lathes and will provide exceptional customer service whilst striving to keep a clean and safe working environment. The role requires motivated, reliable, confident and results-driven individuals who long to be challenged and wish to join a dynamic organisation with exceptional career progression opportunities and employee benefits.

Role & responsibilities

• To manufacture components to AESSEAL drawings in stainless 316L and Phosphor Bronze on multiple machines


• Work to tight deadlines in a pressurised working environment to fulfil our corporate promise of exceptional customer service


• Verifying and editing CAM programmes in order to ensure components are manufactured to the desired quality and efficiency standards


• Interpret complex engineering drawings


• Perform quality checks as per AESSEAL procedures using measuring equipment and/or CMM


• Strictly adhere to safe working practices and highlight any potential hazards to relevant team leaders


• Maintain a clean work area
