A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us in Ipswich & East Adult and Community Services within the Business and Finance Team as an Apprentice Business and Finance Administrator.
We'll support your development from the start and will help you to play to your strengths, diversify your skills and build an influential and impactful career. During your apprenticeship you will receive ongoing training, new work-based experiences and support to enable you to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to undertake a comprehensive range of finance and administrative duties.
We are seeking a friendly, organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.

Your role and responsibilities
Our Business and Finance team provides administrative and finance support to the Practitioners and Home Care providers supporting vulnerable adults across our locality area.
- You will be part of the team carrying out financial and business functions which will include the delivery of income and payment services within Adult and Community Services
- Provide business support focusing on good outcomes for our customers, statutory requirements and new ideas to improve the way we work
- Liaise with Home Care Providers to ensure services are provided in accordance with agreed processes, policies and timescales
- Identify financial and business inaccuracies and ensure they are reported to the Business and Financial Officer and resolved in a timely manner
- To build positive relationships with Home Care providers and colleagues to act as a first point of contact and resolve financial and business performance process queries.

- Need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 - 9 / Grade C and above or equivalent including mathematics and English.

£22,366 per annum (pro rata if part time)
- 37 hours per week - Flexible working options available
