Application Developer

Are you passionate about coding and ready to join our dynamic internal applications development team? As a Junior Application Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative systems both internally and externally. You'll be involved in system integration, utilising in-house expertise and third-party APIs to enhance our operations.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Supporting our external customers and internal teams from design to implementation of innovative systems


• Evolving robust core systems to maintain a stable and consistent business infrastructure


• Developing and improving interfaces with third-party applications for efficient integration


• Improving processes and workflows to deliver maximum value to our customers


• Software design/configuration, problem solving and debugging/fixing issues


• Ensuring alignment to coding and configuration standards


• Collaborating within an Agile environment to achieve project success.
  
  Ideally, at least 2 years of software development or systems integration experience


• Proficiency across Visual Studio, C#, and .NET technologies


• A track record working with third-party APIs


• Familiarity with developing code in a security-conscious environment


• Good understanding of application server architecture and databases


• Highly effective communication and facilitation skills


• Familiarity with version management software


• Degree educated or 2 years of relevant vocational experience


• Certification or qualification in security standards advantageous


• Live within a commutable distance to our Lakeside North Harbour, Portsmouth HQ
