Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join us as an Admin Team Leader on a fixed-term basis for approximately 12 months. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential support while our Operational Support Manager is on maternity leave.,

  • Overseeing all aspects of people management, from performance to absence management (including planned leave).

  • Ensuring the team remains motivated, challenged with appropriate workloads, and receives the necessary training and guidance.

  • Overseeing daily administrative tasks, prioritising workload, and delegating responsibilities effectively to maintain productivity and quality standards. This includes stepping in to complete tasks when team members are absent.

  • Managing long-term tasks, including resource assessment for project work and monitoring progress, ensuring appropriate communication with all relevant parties.

  • Anticipating areas where problems are likely to arise based on past experience and implementing preventative measures. This includes monitoring internal SLAs where the team may have struggled in the past, flagging issues with managers as needed, and raising and determining root causes when non-conformities arise within the team.

  • Actively participating in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the team.

  • Conducting formal appraisals/reviews and remaining accessible and approachable to team members.

    Experience working in an office or administration environment is essential, providing a solid foundation for understanding the tasks and challenges of the role.

  • Proficient in basic IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office suite, to effectively carry out administrative tasks and support team members as needed. Experience of Dynamics 365 would be a big advantage.

  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all administrative work undertaken.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and foster positive working relationships with colleagues.
