Full Job Description

    • As a TradeChoice Accounts Assistant, you will:
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card receipts; and resolve discrepancies

  • Collaborate with branches regarding omissions and errors to ensure daily cashbook compliances are adhered to

  • Submit payments on the online banking portal

  • Maintain various prepayment and accrual accounts

  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • Post general ledger journals as required

  • Ad-hoc analyses of expenditure and statutory reporting, and fulfil auditing requests

  • Assist with invoicing when required

  • Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters

  • Stay updated on accounting legislation and best practice

  • Provide support during audits and financial inspections


    • Your working pattern:
  • Monday to Friday

  • 8:30am to 5pm (flexible start times)

  • 30-minute break

    Accounts, banking and cashbook (familiarity and understanding)

  • Typical sales, purchase and ledger responsibilities

  • Strong proficiency in accounting software

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices

  • Accuracy with data, KPI's and reporting

  • Excellent problem-solving

  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and external stakeholders

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Adaptive communication with cross-cultural awareness

  • Confidence and self-motivation, Accounts Assistant (or similar): 1 year (preferred)
