About the role As Youth Project Worker your role will be to engage with young people across Peterborough, initially to complete consultation activities and following on from this to be responsible for the delivery of youth drop-in sessions based at The Cresset.

+ A vocational qualification relevant to the post and or a willingness to train toward a recognised youth qualification
+ Significant experience of working with children and young people
In accordance with safer recruitment processes many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. This exciting new project supported by the Youth Investment Fund will work with young people, 11-18 (Up to 25 SEN) across Peterborough and provide a safe and engaging space with a programme of activities to support young people to belong, contribute and thrive., Please note YMCA Trinity Group does not have a sponsored Licence to recruit non-UK workers and therefore all candidates are expected to be able to work in the UK.

Salary £11.59 per hour.
