Full Job Description

The User Instructions Copy/Artworker with additional UX and Graphic skills is responsible for creating intuitive and user-friendly copy for how to use and interact with Marshall. This includes instructions and information to support the products through their complete lifecycle and related processes (design, development, maintenance, and recycling). The role is an important part in creating a positive user experience and is a strong advocate for the end-user information needs, compliance and legal information requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Artwork and Instruction Development:

  • Produce and deliver artwork for packaging, from sketch to final artwork.

  • Create packaging artwork concepts based on brand guidelines and brief.

  • Develop and create product graphics and technical illustrations.

  • Develop user-centred instructions in English and guide additional instructional materials, including email onboarding, support resources, FAQs, videos, and repair centre instructions.

  • Create user instructions that are accurate, relevant, compliant, and user-friendly.

  • Ensure timely delivery of artwork and user instruction copy.

  • Manage translation of user instructions and packaging copy.

  • Documentation Management and Support:

  • Ensure on-time input of artwork-related information into packaging specification template.

  • Provide user methods and instructions for additional instruction material.

  • Manage translation of copy and user information by preparing documents, requesting translations, and adding translated copy to respective documents and/or digital assets.

  • Support other packaging copywriters and graphic designers.

  • Act as a resource for support teams, addressing inquiries related to documentation.


  • Planning and Collaboration:
  • Identify and plan user information needs in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Work closely with product communication stakeholders, development teams, and third-party stakeholders.

  • Collaborate on material and finish selection for packaging artwork.

    The candidate is adept at managing various aspects of product documentation and graphic design, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and user-centred communication. Responsibilities include creating product graphics, collaborating with stakeholders to identify necessary user information, developing user-centric instructions in English, creating illustrations for user documentation, and translating documents for online publication. Additionally, the candidate oversees the translation process, supports packaging, and copy editing, ensures timely input of artwork-related information into packaging definitions, and provides user methods and instructions for additional materials. They also serve as a resource for support teams, addressing inquiries related to documentation., A few years experience as a technical writer, creating user-centric documentation

  • Professional skills in the Adobe Suite as well as experience working with Content Management Systems/tools and authoring programs

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, Graphic Design, Technical Communication).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Knowledge in packaging materials and printing techniques.


  • Experience working with third-party style guides and requirements.

  • Skilled and genuinely interested in language, communication, and creating clear and effective user information.

  • Experienced in project management and product development

  • Role model in professionalism and respecting business ethics.

  • Strong team player.

  • Bonus if you have a solid technical understanding of amplifiers, speakers and headphones.
