Then you could be the person we are looking for. Bluecoat Primary Academy are seeking to recruit two class teachers to cover maternity leave for 12 months. One will be based in Key Stage 1 and the other in Key Stage 2.

We require someone who can bring passion, creativity and dedication to our enthusiastic, forward- thinking staff team. We have a good track record for offering support and development opportunities for staff at all stages of their career, enabling everyone to achieve their full potential. We have a good offer of professional development and are in a good position to support an Early Careers Teacher.

Bluecoat Primary Academy offers 420 place from Reception to Year 6 with additional space in Nursery and a small Focus Provision for children with ASD. It has a strong set of values that are at the heart of its work and there is a clear vision for the future. We deliver a truly inspiring curriculum that is designed to meet the needs of our pupils and is based on research and evidence based good practice.

The children we serve at are from very diverse backgrounds and so our approach needs to be flexible, understanding and adaptive whilst staying true to our strong Christian ethos and maintaining focus on our core values. We offer a nurturing environment to our pupils as well as our staff. Staff wellbeing is important at our school and within our Trust. We utilise a range of strategies to ensure children and adults alike are able to thrive.
