Transport Compliance Coordinator

Focussing predominantly on legal compliance, responsibilities include: -

• Management of drivers' hours and O Licence requirements.


• Ensuring legal compliance across the fleet including scheduling of services and liaising with service providers.


• Actioning any repairs from the daily defect reports and recording them on the Defect Log.


• Working with the despatch team to ensure that vehicles are loaded safely.


• Assisting with managing, motivating, engaging and developing the Transport team as required.


• Managing client relations and expectations.


• Supporting the Sales, Production and Customer Services teams with customer requirements.


• Undertaking H&S duties as required.


• Supporting in the implementation of transport strategies.


• Assisting in the development of future distribution and transport networks.


• Support the Transport Manager with Transport KPI's
  
  Experience of driver compliance, tacho data and working hours regulations.


• Understanding of Operator's Licence requirements and experience of dealing with an Operator's Licence.


• Knowledge of Transport planning and route scheduling.


• A valid UK Driving Licence with no serious endorsements.
