Support Worker (LS27)

Complete Care Agency aims to provide care for people who need assistance with their activities of daily living. Training provided to the staff ensures that care services are delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of the client. This also ensures the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the care of individuals are maintained at a high level.

We are seeking a team of female support workers to care for a client with a spinal injury.

The ideal candidate would be someone who can support our client's daily exercises, and assist the client with personal care including hair, makeup, and nails. Happy to walk reasonable distances. Sociable, but happy to give client space. Preparing meals. Keep the client's home clean, tidy & organized.

This is a part time position around 25 hours a week Various shifts available Monday to Sunday 07:00 - 15:00 and 14:00 - 22:00
Alternate weekend working is required for this role.

Skills and personal characteristics needed to be a carer are:

• Caring and kind with a desire to make a difference in clients' lives.


• Cheerful and friendly.


• Willing to be hands-on with clients at all times while following their care plan.


• Willing to do personal care tasks. (washing, toileting, etc.)


• Willing to undertake more complex care including tracheostomy, nebulizers, peg feeding or stoma, and Bowel care.


• Administering medication.


• Able to follow instructions and procedures.


• Able to work in a team but also use their initiative.


• Willing to adapt to ongoing training as client's practice and needs may change.
