Residential Support Worker - Waking Nights

The Waking Night Residential Childcare Worker (NRCW) is responsible for ensuring that the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs of the children are met consistently to a high standard. The NRCW will comply fully with all statutory and regulatory guidance in conjunction with the organization's policies, procedures, and practices. Under the direction of the management team, the NRCW will deliver therapeutic caregiving. The NRCW will work on a night shift pattern, but may also include days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, sleeping-in duties, and subject to risk assessment - lone working.

Qualifications Required: None specific, however, resilience, empathy, and a demonstrated desire to work with vulnerable young people are essential.
Experience: None specific, but excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English, with an understanding of various UK dialects, are required as service users may be from across the UK.
