Pre School Manager (term time)

We are looking for a professional and hard working member of staff to join our term time Preschool as Manager, based in Hadleigh. We enrol children from 9 months.

Minimum 3 days a week

You must hold a minimum level 3 childcare qualification, and it must be full and relevant including whether or not you need maths/first aid etc to make it usable in the correct ratios in line with statutory regulations.

This role requires experience with managing a small team, with maximum of 22 children per session. The director is very hands on with the team and setting, and does things such as headcount, invoices etc. You will be in ratio and have key children, but time to complete managerial requirements such as filling in risk assessments, the kitchen folder, supervisions of staff and your key childrens observations.

We use Tapestry.

The setting is a church hall, with outdoor space for the children to have an extended learning environment.

The role requires good understanding of the statutory framework, EYFS, and keeping up to date with changing policies and procedures. Minimum level 3 full and relevant certificate. You will need to have a clear DBS and good references, but do not need to be on the update service to apply.

Sen experience Is preferable but certainly not required as training can be provided and support given. One of your roles will be senco for the current children with Sen.

We have an on-site carpark and free childcare for staff if ratios allow no extra member of staff to be needed.

The working week will be 8:30-3, Monday and Wednesday, and 9-3 the other 3 days, term time only. This is because we only need to half pack away currently on a Tuesday and Friday. Minimum 3 days a week. Some other bookings a couple of times a month may occur with a full pack away, in which case you'll need to work 830 the following morning to set up before children come on to site. Statutory annual leave and sick pay.

The rate for this position is £12.50 per hour.

There is a £20 gift card bonus for every sign up on the back of one of your show arounds to new parents. You will also be able to have your birthday off paid in full, or nearest day if a weekend or holiday.
