Full Job Description

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will have the opportunity to experience a wide range of tax matters, including compliance work and the delivery of tax advisory services to the firm's clients. You will be managing a varied portfolio of clients, including directors, partners, sole traders, and landlords.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied client portfolio, with responsibility for all client contact.

  • The preparation of tax returns for your portfolio of clients, in addition to assisting other members of the team where required.

  • Providing support to trainees and assisting with their development.

  • Working with other departments within the firm.

  • Supporting other members of the team with the delivery of advisory services.

  • Attending client meetings and identifying tax planning opportunities.

    You will be ATT qualified or part qualified (or qualified by experience).

  • You will ideally have at least two years' experience of managing a client portfolio.

  • You will have good technical knowledge across the various areas of Personal Tax.

  • You will preferably have some exposure to the provision of advisory services, although this is not essential.
