Night Support Worker

Support Workers cover all manners of support for others - from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. The main responsibilities are below:
+ Trachy care and management
+ PEG care - feeds via feed machine
+ Medication administration
+ Personal care including pad changes and Skin integrity
+ CPAP via vent and Oxygen administration and management
+ Physiotherapy
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate would have some experience with the below but it is not essential

We are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for a lively bubbly person that will interact with a 2.5-year-old little girl, she does have very complex clinical interventions but still a little girl that wants love and attention. This girl requires tracheostomy and ventilation support overnight.
This is a complex role and so applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above., + Experience with Trachy paediatric.

+ Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
+ Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
+ Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
+ Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
+ Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
