You're capable of working under pressure and you have a keen eye for detail. A basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) Previous experience in a supplies or stores environment is beneficial, but not essential. We can give you training if necessary.As a Materials Co-ordinator, you will:To lead and co-ordinate work activities within the Materials department to ensure that all goods and services purchased meet hospital
requirements.To lead and co-ordinate in the purchasing, inventory management and issue of stock using the appropriate procedures and systemsTo support the Materials manager in the daily running of the department during periods of absence and ensure all Materials managers core tasks are completed.Ensures orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering materials and supplies where needed.Co-ordinate the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on departmental orders.Helping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
