Material Flow Engineer

The Material Flow team is responsible for supporting the implementation of future projects, designing internal logistics operations processes, developing innovative packaging solutions, and being a centre point of communication between Manufacturing Operations and our Lead Logistics Provider. As the Material Flow Analyst at the Battery Assembly Centre, you will be integral to the development of the plant, and our rapidly expanding future!,

• Work closely with the LLP (Lead Logistics Provider) to develop solutions as required.


• Collate reports to maintain Plan For Every Part data (stock requirements, usage & throughput data)


• Identify improvements to existing packaging solutions to promote optimisation and efficiency.


• Define packaging for new part introductions.


• Utilise lean manufacturing tools to develop best-in-class linefeed solutions.


• Support with problem-solving activities while carrying out investigations into production downtime and safety incidents.


• Lead meetings with logistics service provider to guarantee there is clear understanding and execution of daily activities.


• Develop KPI's to identify areas of improvement for logistics operations, warehouse 5S, and other scorecard deliverables.
