Full Job Description

We have an exciting position available for an Administration Assistant whose role is to provide efficient and effective administrative support for the busy Service as we continue to build and grow throughout the City. This role is offered on a temporary basis as maternity cover, starting mid-late August (exact date to be confirmed with the successful candidate).

This role will be a combination of home working and in-person work in our office based at Swinton Civic Centre with some work once a week at Moorside High School. The position can provide some flexibility with start and finish times to suit the candidate and the needs of the service. Our busy service oversees the music and performing arts tuition across Salford schools as well as organising and administrating extra creative opportunities in the community. We work with all ages from pre-school to pensioners and are passionate about offering opportunities for everyone to make music and be creative. .
We are looking for someone who:

  • Has exceptional organisation skills

  • Can manage a busy and varied workload

  • Has experience of excellent customer service

  • Is willing to support colleagues and work as part of a team

  • Consistently demonstrates SCL's behaviours
