Level 7 GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER (INTERGRATED) APPRENTICESHIP MOTT MACDONALD LIMITED

As part of our growing apprenticeship offering, we have an exciting opportunity to join the organisation as a Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist Degree Apprentice (Level 7). An apprenticeship is a paid job where you will learn and gain valuable on the job experience, whilst also completing classroom-based learning with a local university,

• Assist in the preparation and supervision of ground investigations


• Collect geotechnical data and observations through site visits and fieldwork


• Interpret geotechnical data to create and develop ground models for use in engineering design


• Undertake geotechnical modelling and analysis using a suite of geotechnical software


• Assist in the production of geotechnical reports and drawings


The training you will be getting

Completion of this apprenticeship will award you with a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering Level: 7 (Integrated Degree), you will also be put on a 2-year internal training programme in addition to receiving ongoing training and support from the company. Training will likely be delivered by day release at a local university.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Upon completion, you can expect to achieve professional membership as either a Chartered Engineer or Chartered Surveyor.

Monday - Friday: 9am to 5.30pm although flexible working may be available.
