Full Job Description

And now, we're searching for a passionate Learning & Development Advisor to join our dynamic team in Cheadle. You'll play a vital role in crafting the employee development experiences that fuel our employees in the UK. From commissioning and managing the delivery of high-impact training programmes to overseeing our talent and performance processes, your expertise will literally build the backbone of our workforce's success.

Hours of Work: 9-5 Monday to Friday (35 hours a week)

Location: Our Head Office is based in Cheadle (near Stockport), we do offer hybrid working but you will be required to travel to Cheadle regularly and across the UK where needed.

You will:

  • Skills Analyst: Work with the L&D team to conduct thorough learning needs analyses, bridging skill gaps with effective learning solutions.

  • Provider Pro: Manage a high-volume provider network, negotiating best rates and ensuring top-notch delivery whilst also maximising the use of the Apprenticeship Levy.

  • Collaboration Catalyst: Foster cross-functional learning and collaboration by connecting specialist teams to deliver impactful in-house training.

  • Content Curator: Maintain the Development Hub's currency and relevance by proposing and implementing agreed-upon updates.

  • Agile Project Manager: Review progress, make on-the-fly adjustments, and keep training projects on track.

  • Talent and Performance Process Implementation Lead: Oversee the smooth implementation of periodic people processes and interventions.

  • Continuous Learner: Identify your own training needs for optimal performance, including independent learning as required.

You'll be familiar with the entire training cycle - from diagnostic, to curricular design, to captivating delivery and evaluation. You'll wield project management abilities to juggle multiple high-stakes initiatives seamlessly. Excellent communications skills that build trusted relationships with stakeholders are critical to our success as well as having an analytical mindset and creative problem-solving abilities.
