IT Analyst (based in Hull)

As an IT Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our e-commerce team, ensuring the seamless operation of our in-house IT systems and creating reports which will assist management making decisions to drive growth across our online stores and marketplaces. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle various responsibilities, including but not limited to creating reports, data analysis and supporting colleagues with IT related issues., 1. Creating and maintaining reports:

• Create and maintain reports as required across the business, using Google Analytics, Metabase, SQL Server Management Studio and MS Visual Studio for SSIS packages. The business is open to using other software, but experience in the above will be required for the candidate to transition effectively.


2. Data Transformation and Analysis:


• Transform/analyse data and feed back to management and other colleagues to help them perform and make decisions more efficiently.


3. Supporting colleagues with IT issues:


• Support colleagues with computer hardware and software issues. Maintain and keep IT equipment up to date with the assistance of our outsourced IT support company.


8. Additional Duties:


• Support other departments and initiatives as needed, including helping other teams with reporting and analysis.



• Adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  
  Experience working with SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio.



• A good level of numeracy/literacy & IT skills.



• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.



• Excellent communication and organisational skills.



• Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.



• Good time management.



• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Experience


• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.



• Good knowledge of Google Analytics or the ability to learn quickly.
