Full Job Description

  • Taking customer enquiries from receipt, through to order and ensuring excellent customer service at all times

  • Understanding product ranges in depth and being able to provide the most appropriate technical solutions to customer problems as well as acting as a technical support for other members of staff

  • Liaising with our manufacturers over pricing, lead times deliveries, technical issues

  • Developing new sales opportunities by phone, email and face to face visits

  • Turning new customers into high spending key accounts

  • Looking for and developing new suppliers of products

  • Utilising and maintaining our Sage CRM system

  • Understanding and working within our SAGE Accounts program

  • Producing sales and marketing data for review

  • Attending and running stands at trade shows

  • Working with the marketing team to develop new innovative and targeted schemes

  • In addition to your written work, you will receive training on products, sales skills and technical certification and standards. This will be provided in-house and by accredited third parties.
