Health & Safety Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Safety Specialist to join our team. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment - Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention - Collaborate with management to develop and deliver safety training programs for employees - Monitor compliance with safety regulations and provide guidance on best practices - Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and
training activities - Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including recommendations for improvement - Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations related to workplace safety Experience: - Proven experience as a Safety Specialist or similar role - In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and protocols - Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other relevant industry standards - Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in report writing and record keeping - First aid certification is highly desirable We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
