Full Job Description
- Preparation of management accounts for 3 legal entities including consolidation
- Prepare and post month-end and year-end journals.
- Processing weekly & ad hoc sales invoices
- Process invoices for suppliers and subcontractors.
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations.
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Preparation of key monthly flash reporting requirements
- Support commercial teams by providing regular and ad-hoc data reporting.
- Preparation of audit files and liaising with external accountants
- Lead preparation and submission of Returns - CIS PAYE/P11D/VAT etc
- Assist in managing WIP, Debtors and Creditors.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation
- Substantial accounting experience in a busy, progressive and tightly managed medium-sized business is needed.
- Previous experience in the construction or property sector desirable
- Extensive experience of computerized accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
- Proficient Microsoft Office user with intermediate Excel skills needed.
- A meticulous and methodical approach
- Ability to deliver accurate and high-quality work within deadlines.
- Consistent performance under pressure
- High standard of written and verbal English
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Flexible approach to work, willing to play a full role in ensuring the success of the team, Qualified accountants (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAEW) are preferred, but we are open to considering part-qualified and QBE candidates with strong relevant experience., This role is ideally suited for a self-motivated professional looking to elevate their career to the next level by taking an active role in day-to-day financial operations.
