Full Job Description

  • Ensure programmed inspections, service requests and project work such as enforcement campaigns are delivered within specified timescales

  • Motivating, mentoring and training of officers

  • Line management responsibility of the Environmental Health Officers and Technical Officers

  • Managing assigned budgets

  • Decision making on legal actions taken by other officers

    We are looking for an individual that has a BSc in Environmental Health or equivalent and at least 3 years' experience of working in an environmental health role. Knowledge and experience of current food hygiene legislation and food competency is essential., Disability Confident

    A new Environmental Health Team Leader post has been created in our dynamic environmental health team. Reporting to the Environmental Health Manager, this exciting and challenging role covers the day-to-day management of six officers and will support the operational delivery of our environmental functions including but not limited to food safety, statutory nuisance, private section housing enforcement and public health.,
