Environment Specialist (2326) Benefits

The purpose of this role is to provide specialist support to the Head of Environment in key aspects of environment and energy management systems, and to take ownership of GTR's fleet of road vehicles as nominated Road Fleet Manager. Responsible for supporting and contributing to effective communication and delivery of the Strategy across all functions, with positive representation internally and externally, and collating feedback to enable development and continuous improvement.

• Member of a recognised Environmental body (IEMA, or equivalent)


• Educated to degree level or able to show relevant experience


• Environmental Management System Internal Auditor qualification, or comparable experience


• Broad knowledge of current environmental legislation and ISO14001 and ISO50001 standards


• Broad understanding of risk management, current and emerging technologies for energy, water and resource management
