Full Job Description

As the co-ordinator of a skilled team of 20 Engineers, you'll play a key role in shaping exceptional customer experiences. Equipped with advanced tools, you'll delve into the details of skill assessment, geographic availability, and capacity planning to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time so we meet our SLA's with precision and efficiency.

A glimpse into your day:

  • Organisational expert: you'll be planning workloads for our engineering teams - including Field Service Engineers (boots on the ground) and Network Architects, who design, implement and support complex solutions.

  • Proactive planning: managing the balance between resource availability and project demand, providing line of sight to our Engineers of future projects and initiatives.

  • Responsive to change: able to react, adapt and respond to fast changing situations as they evolve.

  • Problem solving: resolving challenges to keep projects on track to achieve maximum resource utilisation and productivity without compromising on delivering an excellent customer experience.

  • Data gathering and reporting: generating reports that provide meaningful insights on project timelines, resourcing impacts, trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Stakeholder management: use your exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, ensuring a balanced approach to meeting business needs and demands.

    Are you a planning whizz, with exceptional organisational abilities and cool headed under pressure, then our Engineering Resource Planner role might just be your perfect fit!, A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role, where success hinges on customer experience and stakeholder management

  • Experience of working in a busy, dynamic and fast-paced environment; ensuring seamless BAU operations amid changing priorities

  • A track record of delivering value through effective resource management strategies

  • Familiarity with ticketing system such as ServiceNow would be a bonus

  • Solid academic background, with a minimum of 5 GCSE's

  • Clear and effective communication skills

  • Ability to plan and prioritise

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
