Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner to join OK4U Day Centre in Swindon. You will form part of specialist team responsible for supporting people with learning disabilities by maintaining the day centre and environment.,

  • Provide an excellent level of cleaning throughout the centre to maintain the facilities to the highest standard

  • Safely store and appropriately use a range of cleaning products and equipment

  • To work within SBC Health and Safety Policy and COSHH guidelines

  • To take responsibility for your own health and safety by using the provided PPE

  • To follow a cleaning timetable, which will account for the whole centre across the week

  • Accurately complete forms and maintain records

  • To report any stock that is needed to the office for it to be maintained


  • This is a varied role within a friendly and supportive team, and provides opportunities for a variety of training. Successful applicants will be required to attend an induction programme as well as in-house, online and bespoke training.

    Applicants must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act - for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
