- Innovate and transformRole and ResponsibilitiesYour Key Responsibilities: The purpose of the role is to ensure that all commercial deals are booked and customer offers issued within agreed SLAs. Furthermore, this role is responsible for the true up of customer promotions and management of the balance sheet reconciliation and aging clearance. The role sits within the Finance Operations Team, and reports to Junior Commercial Finance Operations Manager; Key duties include;Ensure that all bookings are processed and offers issued to customers as approved by the businessEnsure fair and accurate accrual bookings in line with accounting standards.Responsibility for the management of the balance sheet reconciliation and aging clearance.Review all bookings post-promotion and calculate any P&L / BS impact for reported sell out and work with the Commercial and FP&A teams to ensure this is factored into the SD forecasts in a timely manner.Manage the process of accounting for sales deductions and
support the divisions.Ensure that these costs are completely and accurately recorded, correctly classified, that spend is appropriately justified and within budget/authority limits, and that supporting processes are efficient and effective.Working with AR team to validate and process of customer claims received and management of account accrualsSupport Commercial Finance Managers with data requestsProcess and system improvementsContinuous review of end-to-end processesUndertake project to review processes and implement automation of bookings process as appropriate for different product categories.What we need for this roleTo be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Exceptional attention to detail with data transposing.Ability to work in a high pressure environment, take quick and effective decisions and direct others.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, get key messages across succinctly and work with others.Proven track
record in demonstrating accountability and ownership; proactive approach.Strong reporting skills, display key information and convey messages clearly, concisely and with impact.Work well under pressure, with good decision making skills under tight deadlines.Advanced excel skills (data handling, pivots, sumifs, charts etc).Experience of working in technology or FMCG sectors;Hands on experience of using ERP systems (preferably SAP).What does success look like?Processing of the c.2,000 bookings per month with minimal error, and aligning to internal KPIs and customers contracts.Ensuring accurate forecasts of sales deduction budgets by product in line by providing timely and accurate true up information to the FP&A and Commercial teams.Skills and QualificationsBenefits of working at Samsung include Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home per weekBonus scheme linked to individual, team and company performancePension contributionThree volunteering days each yearHoliday
