Catering Assistant

Assist in food preparation and presentation during catering events
- Help set up and break down catering equipment and decorations
- Support bartending activities as needed
- Provide excellent guest services and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the catering area

Experience or interest in the hospitality industry, particularly in catering or hotel settings
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Culinary skills are a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in guest services, restaurant, or catering is advantageous

Spitting Pig North Yorkshire provide catering for weddings, parties and corporate events across the North of England. This is quite a seasonal role and would suit students looking for summer work. Most events take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays and days will be between 8-10 hours. Travel of more than one hour will be paid.
