Full Job Description
- Be responsible for maximising the success of the Bar by ensuring it operates smoothly and that customers' expectations are continuously met and exceeded
- Be someone who has natural flair and will have the ability to run a bar.
- Possess strong organisation and time management skills are essential for this role as well as having a forward thinking and solution focused approach.
- Manage the cellar and stock that includes cask ales and keg beers as well as bottles and soft drinks and place orders.
- Liaise with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities, sales reps and the police.
- Organising and promoting social events such as quizzes, karaoke evenings and live music.
- Making improvements in the running of the business.
- Handling administration and paperwork.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws.
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff.
· Confidence - Supervising experience: 1 year (required)
- Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
- Bar management: 1 year (required)
- Hospitality: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
