Full Job Description

  • Preparing and submitting statutory accounts and corporation tax returns from a variety of both manual records and software

  • Reviewing client records

  • Handling inbound queries from clients, and delivering great client service

  • Filing / add documents to Online System

  • Meeting or exceeding all targets and KPIs

  • Further adhoc tasks as requested by management


    • Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability. The Affinity Group and Boom Training will provide ongoing guidance and support throughout your apprenticeship studies.

    • The training you will be getting

    AAT Level 3 Assistant Accountant, which includes:
  • You'll have four Level 3 AAT exams including advanced bookkeeping, Final Accounts Preparation, and more

  • Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Finance

  • You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training

  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks

  • End Point Assessment (online)

  • Occasional group classes with other learners

  • Access to MyAAT for learning material

  • AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting

  • AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting

  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths will be provided for those without Grade 4/C (or equivalent) if required

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Team working, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C or above) Desired
