An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Estates Helpdesk Operative to join the BGS Estates & Facilities Management Team in Keyworth, Nottingham.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in a Customer Service/Helpdesk environment and your work here, alongside the other helpdesk team members, will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for all Estates customers, both internal and external and other Keyworth site tenants.

Using a specialist Facilities Management database to handle work streams within the Estates function.

Processing, delivering, and collecting post across the Keyworth site.

Involvement in meeting room facilities and visitor bookings.

Involvement in the procurement of goods and services.

Administration of the organisation's vehicle hire contract.

To carry out important and essential work with the different sections of the wider Estates Team as and when required.

Candidates will have relevant experience of working within a fast-paced Facilities Management (FM) environment (A FM qualification would be highly desirable, as would membership of the BIFM). Familiarity with specialist FM software and experience of using Microsoft Office applications is also a requirement.

Good standard of education - GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths (S)

Experience of working in a Facilities Management / Help Desk environment (S)

Proficient in the use of FM databases/software (S)

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word (S&I)

Knowledge of Health & Safety processes (S&I)

Excellent organisation, administrative, and time management skills (S&I)

Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, reacting as necessary (S&I)

Ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised (S&I)

A formal Facilities Management qualification (S)

Membership of the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) (S)

Experience of working with a FM Records Management System (S)

Demonstrates a keen interest in their own Continuing Professional Development (I)
