Workshop woodworking machinist and assembler

Duties will include:

• Contributing to the production of timber framed structures


• making cedar shingle roofs


• machining & building components ready for delivery


• Using crosscut, table saws, band saws


• Assembly of timber-framed sections


• Assisting with other elements of the build process where required


• we are working to deadlines every day so it is a busy and demanding environment.
  
  Desirable skills:


• Experienced in the use of woodworking machinery and power tools


• Able to lift reasonably heavy loads


• Ability to work to own initiative, as well as part of a team


• Positive and professional attitude towards work
  
  Due to increased demand for our Luxury Garden Buildings has led to an opportunity to be part of successful, dynamic, and friendly workshop team which manufactures and assembles components for garden buildings. We are based in Long Crendon near Thame on the Bucks/Oxon border.


The role will be predominantly factory based with occasional off-site work where required, such as to be part of the prestigious shows in the UK such as Chelsea Flower Show in London.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn how to operate and run CNC machine. All training is provided.
