Full Job Description

  • Organize and stock shelves and displays according to planograms (visual merchandising layouts).

  • Provide updates to team and other departments on the continuous improvement of all aspects covered in the role.

  • Maintain accurate stock levels through cycle counts and inventory control systems.

  • Prepare outgoing orders for shipment or customer pick-up in a uniformed manner ensure consistence in presentation.

  • Ensuring Stock Management Systems (MRP) is kept up to date and correct.

  • Move and rearrange product in locations to achieve efficient stock holding, either by hand, pallet truck or fork truck.

  • Keeping the areas and vehicles clean and tidy to ensure production/dispatch/service efficiencies can be maintained by all staff.

  • Work within a team approach to achieve daily tasks with good communication skills

  • Ability to learn and be involved in the production process.

  • Collection of manufactured products from suppliers locally (using company vans)

  • Other duties as required - Cross Training provided

    IT Skills: Good competence level required for emails, data entry, system applications and inventory checking.

  • Organisational Skills: Have ability to manage a workload, monitor changes, and be proactive in future tasks.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Have ability to communicate in different ways to various departments.

  • Self-motivation: Being a go getter, contribute as part of a team and achieve set goals.

  • Decision Making: Ability to make decisions based on information/experience.

  • Stock Control: The job involves daily checks and measurements on stock controls, Proficiency in using store inventory management software.

  • Team player: The candidate must be a team player, able to work well with others.

  • Eye for Detail- ability to understand the importance of presentation for outgoing orders and the need to ensure all incoming orders are thoroughly checked.

  • Experience of a similar role would be advantageous
