Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Technician to join our team at Lochwynd Ltd based from our Warrington Depot working at various sites within England.

Duties

To ensure the completion of Traffic Technician works to client specifications and conduct works in accordance with Lochwynd Limited policies and procedures.

To conduct works under the direction of the Contracts Manager and ensure the safe and correct usage of Plant and equipment.

Your Role will include but not limited to the following:

· Attend various sites across England, provided by the client during your allocated shift period.

· Manage and troubleshoot tasks across various sites daily.

· Participate in mandatory product and industry accreditation training.

· Laise with client and adequately clear fault with control room.

· Conduct electrical tests and pre-commissioning checks.

· Correct and safe demonstration of accessing street furniture/cabinets.

· Accurately record and complete all required site documentation (controller logbooks)

· Knowledge of requirement & accurate use of Traffic signal controller handset.

· Adhere to health and safety protocols, prioritizing hazard identification and mitigation.

· Ensure all work is completed to specification, meeting high standards and deadlines.

· Interpretation & comprehension of drawings / specifications / job pack.

· Safe and correct use of hand and power tools.

· Safe and correct use of harness and lanyard.

· Safe and correct use of steps and ladders.

· General site cleanliness and maintenance

You will be required to:

· To follow rules and ensuring timely completion of job.

· Complete all relevant paperwork duly authorised and signed.

· Have Health & Safety Awareness

· Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.

· Good Communication and ability to follow incrustations given.

· Dedicated to continuous professional development.

· Confident Lone Worker

Skills & Experience Required

· Electrical Experience. (Required)

· Traffic Industry experience (Required)

· Full UK driving licence.

· Ability to work at heights.

· Ability to work alone and as part of a team.

· Self-Motivated, trustworthy and punctual.

Qualifications required:

· CSCS/ECS Touchscreen Test Certificate.

· Sector 8 Accreditation

· Electrical Qualification (Preferred)
