Test Technician

• SHIFT WORKING HOURS


37.5 hour week. Monday to Friday.

Two shifts in operation (no shift rotation):

AM Shift - 06:00am to 2:00pm.

PM Shift - 1:00pm to 9:00pm.

Currently recruiting for both AM and PM shift., 1. Ensure test work is performed correctly, to the correct standard and within the defined timescales.

2. Maintain the general equipment and cables in the test laboratory and to provide a clean and tidy working environment.

3. Maintain the cleanliness of the test site and the associated outbuildings.

4. Avail oneself of the correct or latest issue of the appropriate documentation prior to the test taking place.

5. Maintain records of all test results taken as required by ISO 17025 and our internal quality documentation processes.

6. Report any inconsistencies in any documents, equipment or procedures.

Must have a full UK Driving License and be able to reliably commute for shift work hours., A minimum of 5 GCSE Grade 4 / Grade C (inc. Maths & English).

Additional relevant qualifications above GCSE level are considered for salary bands and progression plan.

Grading structure and progression plan as follows
• :


Grade A Technician - Probation Period (6 months) - £23,000 to £25,000

Grade B Technician - 6 Months to 1 Year Experience - £26,000 to £28,000

Grade C Technician / Engineer - 1 to 2 Years Experience - £29,000 to £35,000

Grade D Engineer - 2 to 4 Years Experience - £33,000 to £40,000

Grade E Senior Engineer - 3 to 5 Years Experience - £36,000 to £48,000


• Must have 2 of 3 complete and audited disciplines or justifications to achieve band. Additional relevant qualifications / test experience considered towards salary grading.
