Test Site Operator

Reporting to the Test Site Supervisor, you'll be part of a highly focused, passionate team, working on exciting new programmes to maintain and further extend our product ranges. Current products include Zero emission machines, including electric and hydrogen. Building on the successful launches of these, you will help to test and develop new and current product designs. Driving and finding issues before they go out to the customer. This is a highly valued part of the research and development process and includes giving feedback via daily reports and having divisional briefs with the engineers.,

• Adhering to all site health and safety aspects.



• Driving JCB products, dependant on licenses.



• Following prescribed duties and documenting any issues found.



• Working with engineers to identify issues.



• Maintain machines to a high standard including servicing and washing.



• Maintain quarry facilities including haul roads, bunds and dig areas.
  
  You will be expected to work as part of a team but also individually. Have a positive, enthusiastic attitude, great communication, team working skills and a sense of urgency. Some mechanical background would be an advantage but not essential. The individual will ideally hold 2 or more CPCS tickets and have experience operating machines on sites / farms / quarrying or in the waste industry. This role is for a Weekend working pattern of Thursday to Sunday days with additional overtime where available.
