Full Job Description

  • You will work as part of our dynamic catering team in Hartpury's kitchen and eating outlets across the campus, from the Equine Centre to hospitality in the Sports Academy on match days.

  • Assisting with the movement of catering goods and equipment around campus

  • Inventory and stock management following the Stock Labelling and Rotation System

  • Responsible for stock items across campus and ensuring orders are received and storing at appropriate temperatures.

  • Cleanliness of all stock areas including fridges, freezers, dry goods areas, delivery loading bay and transport vehicles.

    Some experience working in a similar role or fast-paced environment is desirable although not essential

  • Knowledge of Micros, Materials Control, or similar stock control systems

  • You will have the flexibility to start an early shift at 7am or finish a late shift at 11pm, including weekend working

  • Ability to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene

  • You will ideally hold manual handling & food hygiene certificates or be willing to work towards

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
