Full Job Description

We have a healthy project pipeline and need a Senior Site Manager to support us on a school project in the Manchester area. You will be responsible for managing, directing and supporting the project delivery team (+ designers D&B) in all construction activities and ensuring successful and safe delivery to the satisfaction of the Client, Stakeholders and ISG.
Key Accountabilities

  • Strong management and leadership of HSQE - achieving Target Zero

  • Take ownership of the project programme and develop strategy to meet or improve upon

  • Maximise profit margins and returns on the project through close co-operation with the project commercial team

  • Management of subcontractors - in line with time, quality and budget requirements

  • Keep line manager constantly updated on key construction issues and solutions

  • Ensure the highest level of HSQE management and set the standard for the project team

  • Manage HSQE induction and reporting procedures Report to PM/CM on all project issues

  • Regular programme and progress monitoring and compiling programming strategies with project team during the contract period

  • Manage the design process and design team in conjunction with the Design Manager

  • Deal with supply chain performance problems in conjunction with project team

  • Chair end of project review meetings/complete project profile

  • Liaise with local authority, building control, HSE and other outside agencies

  • Encourage and promote the message of fairness, inclusion and respect with colleagues, clients and suppliers

    Successful and profitable delivery of projects in new build and/or refurbishment contracts

  • Experience in a similar leadership role as a Site Manager

  • Experience working on public sector framework, 5 Day Site Management Safety Training Scheme or equivalent

  • 4 day First Aid Certificate

  • CSCS Card (Site Manager's or similar)

  • ACIOB preferred
