Senior GRC Product Specialist

Computershare have an exciting opportunity for a Senior GRC Product Specialist to join our Global Risk Group, which is the Second Line of Defence group covering Risk and Compliance.

The role is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the required changes to support the delivery and ongoing maintenance of the selected GRC solutions tool within the Computershare environment.

The role of the Senior GRC Product Specialist will be to undertake the day-to-day administration and configuration tasks to support the Computershare GRC platform - Archer, driving more efficient and effective utilisation of existing tools, processes and resources to deliver continuous improvement of overall functional services.

Focus on enhancing programs and processes, leveraging synergies across the various disciplines. Along with being a key contributor to short- and long-term projects including the definition of business requirements, mapping system requirements, system implementation, liaising with the vendor, technology team and testing.,

• Understand, manage and communicate new functionality integration risks and recommend, test, implement and communicate decided approach


• Propose enhancements to overall programs for system maintenance


• Maintain the integrity of the database from a data quality perspective


• Maintain the integrity of the database from a user security perspective to ensure the appropriate users have appropriate access to the system by enforcing the User Access Policy and regular reviews of our users against a security matrix


• User acceptance testing of changes within the system


• Working with the vendor and CTS users to troubleshoot issues and develop system enhancements


• Create and maintain appropriate and effective technology baselines and supporting operational process and procedures documentation


• Ensure that all relevant project governance and change processes are adhered to


• Identify future trends/ requirements in area of expertise and contributes to the development of new concepts which form part of total business solutions


• Establish, maintain and leverage effective working relationships with all areas of GIRSG and stakeholders


• Understand and apply industry best practice and innovative thinking, foster knowledge sharing to provide solutions where no precedent may exist and ensure implementation of solutions where appropriate to enhance and develop processes and best use of technology Recognise and act pro-actively to exploit future opportunities or to avoid or mitigate future problems/ conflicts

  The Senior GRC Product Specialist must understand Archer and the CPU Enterprise Risk standards. Specialist experience of operational risk and technical information security and an understanding of technology and its application.


The role holder will have the ability to translate technology, risk and security requirements into business terms along with a proven track record working at a senior level across all risk types in a complex, global environment.

In addition, you will have:

• Strong project management and business analyst skills


• Competent in MS Project, MS Excel, MSPowerPoint, MSWord, MS Visio, SharePoint


• Database and software background to manage the integrity of the system, issues and enhancements


• Have proven experience of management of complex systems and technologies in a large-scale business


• An understanding of the impact of new technologies and systems on a business


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think "outside the box" in a pragmatic and logical manner


• Ability to work under pressure within strict deadlines, managing change and conflicting priorities Be proactive in taking on responsibilities and solutions-oriented with a commercial mindset
