Full Job Description

The senior brand marketing manager is at the start, middle and end of the marketing planning process. Working with the head of marketing and marketing director to set the strategy for the year alongside our insight, analytics, finance, online and retail teams., Once we have set the plan for the year. The senior Brand marketing manager will then lead the planning process for various campaigns as described by the yearly marketing calendar.
The campaign planning process brings together a team of individuals across marketing, creative and channels to build and execute the campaigns and propositions that you have created. The senior brand marketing manager will create the brief to excite the creative and channel teams then project manage the campaign through its core stage gates from brief, creative development, execution and finally into review. Building the foundations for the next years planning process.
Role Responsibilities

    Experience in a fast moving retail environment in a similar marketing planning role

  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear, simple, and succinct messages that engage others (verbal and written)

  • Excellent organisational planning skills

  • A strong networker, ability to maintain strong working relationships both internal and external

  • A track record of delivering through others

  • Experienced presenting both in person and on teams

  • Basic understanding of retail marketing channels

  • Commercial acumen

  • Ability to analyse data to create meaningful action

  • Problem-solving skills with well thought through outcomes

  • A team player, not afraid to think outside the box and drive the brand forward

  • Experience of managing people/ teams

  • Ability to digest and act on insight and analysis

  • Creative thinker

  • Awareness of ALT advertising and media planning

  • Omni-channel homewares retail experience.

    Department Overview
    The purpose of the Brand Marketing team is to make Dunelm famous as the "Home of Homes", by driving spontaneous awareness of Dunelm and its many categories. We are no1 in the market for home furnishings, but we sell so much more.

    The brand marketing team start with the customer, working with insight to really understand their needs and wants and how they differ across the year. Bringing this together with the design, commercial, online and retail teams. To create campaigns and propositions that are executed these across all customer facing channels.
