Sales Order Administrator

· Processing customer sales orders, ensuring they are entered on to our ERP system

· Communicate with customers about their orders, including any delays or changes in delivery

· Arranging deliveries to customers and transportation of goods from our warehouse in both the UK and the Netherlands

· Liaising with Logistics companies to arrange deliveries to customers in the EU and ROW

· Ensure the correct paperwork such as packing list, delivery note, commercial invoice and dangerous goods notes (DGN) are raised· Raise export documentation with customs broker and ensure evidence of export is filed accordingly

· Investigate and resolve customer complaints quickly and patiently, including assistance of customers who may have received their orders late, have received the wrong order or damaged product, escalate when needed

· Ensure invoices to customers are raised in an accurate timely manner

· Maintain customer pricing and up date ERP system with quotes from the sales team

· Correspondence and email management as needed and customer communication via the phone

· Handling customer requests and maintain up to date customer records

· Providing support to sales representatives

· Ensure all relevant month end procedures are completed

· General office duties as required to support the wider team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Competent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel/Word and Outlook


• Ability to work as part of a team supporting colleagues where necessary


• Positive and pro-active attitude with the ability to work under pressure

Salary - DOE

23 days holiday per year, 3 or 4 of which must be taken during the Christmas shutdown - holidays increase up to a maximum of 27 days
