Risk Forecast & Resource Planning Manager

We are recruiting for Risk Forecast & Resource Planning Manager to join our Tactical Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be working directly with the deputy head of Tac-ops, and you'll be an essential piece of our whole business resilience strategy.

This is a newly created role & essential to the resilience of the business, you'll be devising the strategy for new ways of working & working with stakeholders across the business to bring complex levels of insight to effectively understand risks & how to mitigate them.

As our new Risk Forecast & Resource Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management of banked hours, managing workforce-related risks & seeking out opportunities for development.,

• Risk Forecasting - Spearhead the development and refinement of comprehensive risk forecasting processes across various time horizons. Strategic planning to immediate operational response. Leveraging data analytics and industry insights



• Staffing Optimization - maintaining optimal staffing levels within reactive teams. Balancing factors such as sickness absence, annual leave, and operational demands. Ensure the organization can respond to emergent challenges.



• Scheduling and Resource Allocation - Orchestrate scheduling of essential activities in addition to core 24/7 cover and parallel enabling work. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.



• Adaptive Workforce Management - Exercise agility in adjusting work patterns as necessary. Monitoring risk indicators and realigning staffing schedules and operational priorities to maintain operational resilience.



• Recruitment Facilitation - Lead in facilitating timely recruitment efforts for 24/7 teams. Identifying staffing needs, initiate recruitment processes, and ensure seamless onboarding of new hires.
